wet and marshy land underpaw, with patches of quicksand here and there. most quicksand patches have been barred off by sharp reeds, but sometimes the occasional cat may fall into a quicksand patch. waterclan cats know how to get out of quicksand, and they have not told the other clans the secret. their camp is an abandoned tiki camp, mariora, where the fire sends up warm flame and occasionally showers of snow. they sleep in the soft, leafy beds inside the strong wooden tiki huts. they hunt fish, water voles, rats, skinny rabbits and plump water birds.
